What is it?
The Wheelchair Accessible Taxi Centralised Booking Service is a 24 hours a day, seven days a week direct telephone booking service for wheelchair accessible taxis in the ACT.
Booking a wheelchair accessible taxi (WAT) is as simple as calling 13WATS (13 92 87). Enquiries on existing bookings can also be made on this line.
For Taxi Subsidy Scheme (TSS) members a completed 75% TSS voucher, 50% TSS voucher with a lift fee, or lift fee only voucher must be used for the hiring. If you require further information on the TSS please contact 6205 1012 or refer to the TSS fact sheet.
Who is eligible?
Anyone requiring a wheelchair accessible taxi can make a booking through the service.

Important Notice - Interstate Travel Vouchers must be used if you are Intending to Travel Interstate, including Queanbeyan
ACT Taxi Subsidy Scheme (TSS) Smartcards do not work in interstate taxis. Only taxis with ACT registered license plates can process TSS Smartcards.
If you are an ACT Taxi Subsidy Scheme (TSS) member and you wish to use an interstate taxi (including a NSW registered taxi in Queanbeyan), you must use an Interstate Travel Voucher to pay for your subsidised fare.
It is essential that TSS members talk to the taxi driver before they start their travel to ensure the taxi driver will accept an ACT TSS Interstate Travel Voucher.
